PAILAN WORLD SCHOOL

The Cricket fraternity of Kolkata were shocked when they suddenly came to know that a buddding Cricketer called Abhishek Saha died in a car accident. Shocking indeed. His mother Mrs. Baby Saha came forward with a noble idea to sponsor 5 boys to play cricket. We have estimated that a sum of 1.5 crores to be spent for those 5 cricketers per year. So after 5 years there will be 25 Cricketers who will be benefited from the sponsorship money to be donated by Mrs Saha. If we calculate it properly, Mrs Saha will have to spend 22 Crores of Rupees for 5 years for the development of 5 promising Cricketers. She also insists that their education will have to be looked after. In order to do that Mrs Saha advised Pailan World School to find appropriate promising cricketers who will be given all the facilities, so that they can establish themselves in life. Pailan World School has already announced their tennis academy on 21st December 2009. Mrs Saha has also agreed happily to sponsor 2 promising tennis players.
          Now, Pailan World School proudly announces that Gundappa Viswanath would advise our coaches time to time so that the cricketers under the banner of Pailan World School would be benefitted from the tips by the former renowned cricketers, coaches. Of course, the school authority would be interested in providing the world class facilities. We would like to use the expertise of the former Bengal Cricketers like Arun Lal, Gopal Bose, Ranadev Bose, Deep Dasgupta and Mintu Das. We want to stretch our wings globally. Mr Devang Gandhi, the former international cricketer, will be the in-charge of our academy. So, there will be international flavour in all of our academies.
          It’s a proud moment for all of us that Pailan World School Cricket Academy is being inaugurated by Gundappa Viswanath in the presence of galaxy of superstars from various sphere of life.
          Our motto is to provide the best of education from KG to PG (Post Graduation). We also want that while studying every student should also concentrate in sports and extra-curricular activities. We have many more such exciting plans for the betterment of our students which we are going to implement shortly, one after another.
