Children's Day Celebration :-
Children's Day was celebrated on 14th Nov 2008 at Pailan World School with fun and frolic. Songs, Dances and a fashion show was
organized by Teachers. All the children were provided with special Lunch at the dining hall on that day. |
| On Children's day , Pailan World School took part in an Aviation Quiz
organized by the Aeronautical Society of India which was held at BITM. Giriraj Dey and Aniket Day of grade 9 took part in the quiz competition. Kolkata’s finest and elite schools turned up to
participate in the competition. |
Inter House Cricket:-
2nd Inter House Cricket Tournament is to commence from 12th Nov 08, to 24th Nov 08 .The Tournament
was played in two categories
( Junior Section Class I to V and Senior Section Class VI to XII ) Students have got opportunity to prove their quality and devotion to the Cricket. |
Friendly Cricket Match :-
Under 16 Team from South Africa was specially invited by the school authority to play two T-20 match on 13th
December 2008.
Writing Competition :-

Tata -Building India
organized an essay writing competition for students of Grade 6-12 on 5-12-08 at the school campus. Many students took part in the event. A one hour movie called "Crucible of Fire" about the Tata's lineage and their building of the huge empire was shown to the students followed by a quiz. Many students grabbed prizes. Students from the Junior Level ( Grades 6-8), Middle Level ( Grade 9-10), Senior Level ( Grade 11 & 12) will be chosen and awarded a runner up and a winner prize from each levels. |
