REPORT-I

1st of August 2008 was a day of great excitement for the students and staff of Pailan World School as POGO India’s favorites kids Channel was coming to host a show called POGO - Hole IN THE WALL. This program has been based on the famous Japanese program ‘Minasan no Okage D’esita.

The program was conceived in such a way that there would be 2 teams consisting of 2 contestants each. The contestants would have to stand in the ‘Activity Area ’ and a ----- wall consisting of inbuilt cut-out is revealed which gradually mouse towards them. They have to make use of their units in seconds to assume the position that will allow them to fit through the shapes. If the contestant passes the wall successfully they win points for their team, however if they happen to fail, no points will be awarded.

This activity derives its uniqueness not only due to its concept but also from the first of its kind WALL FX technology that gives a participant a complete experience.

Only the students of class IV-VIII were allowed to participate and they did so enthusiastically. Executing prizes and POGO Kits for the winners and the participants was an added attraction.

Special mention should be made about our Principal Mr Pradeep J Raval and Brig. H Swami without whose unstained support, the staging of this event would not have been possible.
