HERE IS THE FUN AND THRILL OF VISITING BAKHESHWAR, SHANTINIKETAN & MEETING THE GREAT SHRI AMARTYA SEN. HAVE A LOOK! STUDENTS ARE HAPPY TO MEET SHRI AMARTYA SEN. The hon'ble sports minister Mr. Shubhas Chakraborty and Mr. Dabang Gandhi Came to our school during the opening ceremony at 2nd Pailan Cup T-20 Tournament on 27th December 2008. Shri Biswanath Choudhury, Hon'ble Minister-in-Charge W&CD & Social welfare and jails department, Govt. of West Bengal, Shri Sambaran Bandopadhyay, Eminent Cricketer cum Coach , Mr.Hiran & Ms.Srabonti, the famous film stars came to our school during the closing ceremony at 2nd Pailan Cup T-20 Tournament on 5th January 2009. Pailan World School has been participated in Inter School 20 Twenty championship 2009 which was organized by Mind Scapes Maestros Ltd (Kolkata Group). It was held at Mainland Sambasan Banerjee Cricket Academy from 8th Jan 09 to 17th Jan 09. Top 8 School Team Kolkata were invited to participate, Pailan World School is on of them. Fixture of our School: 9th Jan 09 – La Martiniere for Boy’s Vs Pailan World School 12th Jan 09 – Calcutta Boy’s Vs Pailan World School 14th Jan 09 – Lakshmipat Singhania Vs Pailan World School Parents Teachers meeting held on 15th January 2009. That day our new Principal Mr. Ken Jarman & head  mistress Mrs. Sujata Kaul  meet the parents. Mr.Samar Banarjee, former Indian Ex-Olympian. He was visited our school on 16th January 09,he was very impressed by the Sports facilities and the infrastructure. The Taj Hotel:- Specially Introduction of Mr.Ken Jarman with important dignitaries from Kolkata. NEPAL TOUR:- Recently Our Marketing team visited Nepal to showcase our infrastructure, International Curriculum and the staff and the various academic and co-curricular activities. BEHALA UTSAB:- Pailan World School is participating in the Behala Utsab from 17th January to 27th January. Our new Principal Mr. Kan Jarman & our Chairman Mr. Apurba Saha were specially invited for the inaugural ceremony.
